Double Bridle

Traditional English bridle with two bits: the snaffle and the curb bit. It gives the rider a higher degree of control than a simple bit and is usually used at a certain level of Dressage as well as in Working Equitation.

It is important to note that double bridles can have a strong effect on the horse’s mouth and should only be used carefully, by experienced riders or with a trainer’s supervision.
