Basic Knowledge part 3: Bridling your horse 2016-06-01T00:00:00+02:00

The three basic videos on the cleaning, the saddle, and the bridle provide basic knowledge as well as detailed information about the conscientious everyday handling of the horse.

In this video, the trainer, Sibylle Wiemer shows how to put a bridle on a horse correctly and how to check if the bridle fits the horse. The horse should not have the opportunity to run away while you put the bridle. The reins must not become a tripping hazard and the bit must be guided into the mouth so that it does not hit the teeth.

Using some examples, Sibylle Wiemer also explains the different features of noseband and bridle bits.

You will learn in this video:

  • What type of bridle exists and their uses
  • How to fit the bridle to your horse properly
  • How to put the bridle on safely and comfortably for your horse
