Show Jumping

Equestrian discipline in which horses and riders a required to clear a course of obstacles in a determined amount of time.

In showjumping, obstacles are made out of wooden or plastic polls. The jumps are not fixed meaning that they can fall if the horse touches it. During competitions, fallen polls result in penalties, as well as refusals, or going over the time allowed to complete the course.
